Challenge:
After the pandemic, Roche Levant needed to reunite their large team of 65 staff members, including managers, rebuild connections, and align around their 8 operating principles. The challenge was to create an experience that would help team members explore these principles in a meaningful way, reflect on team dynamics, and strengthen relationships across departments—all while celebrating being together again.

Our Approach:
We designed and facilitated a 3-day experiential journey that transformed abstract principles into tangible, memorable experiences:

• Concept Design: Created "The Crystal Quest"—a narrative journey where sub-teams completed 8 mining challenges, each representing one of Roche's operating principles (Put Patients First, Follow the Science, Act as One Team, etc.)

• Challenge Design: Developed 8 custom activities that embodied each principle through hands-on experiences—from "Off to the Rescue" (patient safety) to "Fail Like a Pro" (accelerate learning) to "A Walk to Remember" (think long-term)

• Facilitation & Delivery: Led the full 3-day program in a natural environment, combining structured challenges with reflection sessions, energizers, outdoor sessions, and celebratory moments

• Integration: Ensured each challenge included briefing, hands-on activity, team reflection, and principle presentation by Roche staff—creating both learning and ownership

Outcome:
Successfully reunited and energized 65 team members across departments after pandemic isolation. Team members built deeper connections, gained practical understanding of their operating principles through experience rather than theory, and created shared memories that strengthened team cohesion.

The program's impact extended beyond the 3 days: Roche planned follow-up activities and family days to maintain momentum and deepen the cultural transformation, demonstrating the lasting value of the experiential approach.
